Daisies

I don’t have the patience for annuals (unless you can eat them), so I figured I’d add some perennial flowers to the garden this year. This spring, I picked up about a dozen daisy-like plants at a really neat family-owned nursery that is literally two minutes down the road from my house. Terrific plants at $2 each – and they are already flowering and gorgeous, lining the entrance to my garden.

Actually, I didn’t think they would get quite so big! I’m going to have to space them out some next spring.

This afternoon, I decided to head back to the nursery to see if they had any left that I could put in a bed in the front yard… but sadly (completely my fault because I didn’t even ask about their schedule!) they closed for the season this past weekend. Next year, I will have grand plans for more daisies.
